You want to use gentle cleansers only, and take care not to scrub too hard. This is because many diamonds have been treated or enhanced with coatings and fillers, which can become damaged or removed by harsh cleaning.

Soak your ring in warm water with a bit of mild dish detergent. If you need to remove build up, use a very soft brush, like a baby toothbrush. You can also use a wooden toothpick to loosen dirt, or a water pik to flush it away.
